Our Story

We started Off-Grid Colorado Solar because we believe in clean, smart energy solutions that are good for your family as well as the planet.

Like many people, we had dreams of building our forever home in the mountains of Colorado, where we could wake up each morning to the sound of birds chirping and watch the wildlife from our kitchen window.

That dream became a reality in 2018, but the challenges of building in a remote, mountainous location quickly became apparent. Grid-tied power was cost-prohibitive, and the impact it would have had on our property's natural beauty was not something either of us wanted.

We knew we needed a sustainable off-grid solution. Solar was the answer.

Seven years later, we love the peace of mind that comes with owning our power and having all our home's energy needs met by Mother Nature.
